500+ Head-Fier
It's become apparent to me that there are numerous individuals who share a similar interest in HD HiFi and offroading/adventure travel. I've been exploring/offroading for the past 20 years and have organized numerous private events over the years. I'd like to organize one-time trip through Death Valley this coming October to show you some of the coolest and most emote places in California. The premise is to see some amazing places and then at night bring out the mobile headphone setups and compare and contrast our favorites under the stars in complete solitude.
This is a free event, no fees (although you should pay for a park pass). We will be camping 2 nights in remote locations. There will be no services. You will need to be self sufficient. You will need a 4 wheel drive with decent clearance. No Subaru's.
Duration - Friday - Sunday
Dates - exact dates still TBD (Mid October)
Location - Death Valley and surrounding BLM land
Requirements - 4 wheel drive minimum, center and rear locker a plus (not required), Electronic traction control (bonus), Food and drinks for 3 days. enough gas for 200 mile range while offroading (assume 10mpg), clothing, camping equipment, mobile hifi setup with power. I will have honda generators for those who need to charge devices.
Feel free to ask any questions in this thread.
