is it the same power adapter that i have used for my Portable CD players that i have previously?

I have a 2Move which is use as a main amp and I will attest that it sounds damn good. I use the power adaptor as well and the boost in power really does add alot to the SQ.

what type of spec is the power adapter? 12V Regulated? But how much amps supplied. Ive seen a couple some said 1.5A, 5.0A... which is probably more than what i have with my sony one.
