I recently purchased denon ah d5000's used... They have no scratch and don't appear to have been modded internally at all, but the right ear pad is torn and wearing even further... So I am looking to replace this.. I only spent about 140USD on the cans, so I cant really justify the 120 on angle pads unless they really change it significantly...

I have noticed that there are a few options out there, and I was wondering if anyone has compared them yet

in particular I was wondering which are best, and if certain ones are acceptably good.

Should I buy:

1. Denon original earpads; From ???
2. Lawton Angle Pads From: http://www.lawtonaudio.com/denonanglepads.html
3. JMoney pads From ???
4. Wang yifei leather From: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Protein-Leather-Replace-Ear-Pads-Cushion-For-DENON-AH-D-2000-5000-7000-Headphone-/261841292931?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item3cf6f50e83
5. Random unbranded one From: http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%B2%E3%83%BC%E3%83%A0/dp/B00WJFQYSG/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1431413476&sr=8-17&keywords=denon+ah
7. Other ebay sellers Such ashttp://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Pair-Replacement-Ear-Pads-Cushion-For-Denon-AH-D2000-D5000-D7000-Headphone-/391138627663?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b11add04f:
6. Any other Recommendations also work.

Any input as to quality changes, or where I can still get those 2 pads would be great.

right now, im leaning to the yifei pads, but Id prefer to buy

Here's a few guys selling stock pads even for as low as $25.

No, can't help you there but it's a fact that earpads can make very significant changes in presentation. When I had a DT880 I swapped between J$ pads and stock and it was just transformed in a different headphone. Turned out boomy, not pretty, but very different. This is highly personal but had I been in your shoes I'd go for the best stock pair in one of those links so you can get to know the headphone in its stock form at a proportional price.

its amazing what prices you can get in japan....

i still want a recommendation... I went ahead and found some original pads from within the country, but i figure a couple months down the line, i am going to be buying some improved pads.  Its basically down to Jmoney vs lawton vs wang yifei pads...
