Hi guys! I already have this XB500. I'm just wondering if the Denon D2000 would be a better upgrade. I love bass and I want a high-end headphones. Which has more lower bass, the XB500 or Denon D2000? btw, I'm not using headphone amp on this. Thank You.

I haven't heard the Denons, but I did get a chance to listen to the XB500s last week.

They do have a lot of bass. So much so, in fact, that it was hard to hear anything else. FWIR, the D2000 will give you any more bass, but I have no doubt that they will be a more balanced/better sounding headphone.

That said, I've not had any experience with the D2000s.
