Denon D1001 availability?

I've been checking everyday for a month waiting for these cans to be in stock but nobody has them. The black model or the silver version. Anyone seen these anyplace recently (without paying $40 or $50 more than you can usually get them)? Thanks!

Why are Denons like not so readily avaliable? on most internet shops back in australia? This prevents me from getting one as all i can get it from are from audioshops that charges FULL price and thats $700 AUD for the D2000. :p

Try find one at the for sale forum, D2000 pops up once in a while ^ ^

This was answered in another recent thread, something to do with Denon trying to eliminate the gray market sale of Denon headphones.

i tried the search words "denon grey market sale" no results haha well there will be one result now since i just used those words :p
