Hey guys I been wearing the c710s for about a week or so now. I really like the SQ. I am a basshead so there is no complaint on the bass for me. The highs are still a little harsh, but from what I read the highs should calm down with more burn in. The only thing I don't like is the tangling wires and the long extension cord. Is there anyway I can maybe buy a shorter extension cord ? do they sell something like that ?

This annoys me too. Far too long, yet too short without.

I think they made it short so it won't tangle as bad, but apparently they thought all their customers would be 5 foot nothing! Lol
I went out to try out those d1000 denon headphones for the hell of it, and they have a much better clarity, but also I listen mainly on my iPod 3g touch. I feel like the d1000 has a hard time trying to drive them. The volume is on max but not as loud as my c710 IEM hmmm or do I need some time to burn them in ?
