I recently ordered the c551k from denon and the tips seem to be a little bad. I used the small ones that came with the package, but they tend to slip out. Are there any foam tips I could use to replace them? Thanks. PS: I already used the sony tips.

Comply T400s. Not cheap, but they will do the trick.

I use shure 2ec/e2g tips on my c551 and they work fine. Better isolation and a deeper and better fit!

Will the plain universal foam tips from shure work? Also, how long do they last?

I haven't tried the universal as they don't fit mith my e2g. I have only tried the ones for E2C/E2G.

I usually just wash my orange foam tips with a bit of warm water and some palmolive dishwashing liquid. Let them dry for a few hours and they are good as new! I didn't know they could be washed in the beginning when I first bought the e2g.
