About 2 months back, I've been referred by fellow Head-Fi`er to the Denon C551K. I've been loving every single moment of it except now; the IEM's metal casing is splitting into two. I know Denon carries a 1 year warranty on it's headphones but I don't have my original packaging nor invoice (though I can probably get one). I'm not sure if this is covered since it seems partially my fault that it has taken such a beating.

My options are:
1) Get some crazy glue and glue the casing back together (rather not since I might void the warranty and further ruin the IEM)

2) Get it serviced by Denon and hope they ship me a new pair.

3) Get some new IEM (probably another C551K pair or start looking forward to the Klipsch Image S4 or Monster Turbine).

My Denon C551K still works it's just the casing splitting apart is starting to bug me.

Help please?

I'm thinking about getting the Monster Turbines. I'm assuming the Turbines have more bass than my C551k?
