I am looking into buying these Denons:
Amazon.com: Denon AH-C551K In-Ear Headphone: Electronics

But I have a few questions before I buy them. I am currently using marshmallows.

Is there any difference between these and the Denon AH-C551 (without the K)?

Are these at a good price?

Should I get the 50 dollar er6i's instead? I listen to hip hop, indie rock, and I do like bass, that's why I chose the Denons over the er6i's.

Is the retailer selling the Denon's trustworthy or do you think I will be receiving fakes?



And.... my family talked me out of buying X-10s... SIGHHHHH

Are there any other headphones you'd recommend instead (saying I'd buy them within the next 3 days) at this price point (50-55 dollars)?

Also will buying an Fiio E3 be a good idea for the Denons?

If you like bass and listen to hip-hop, I'd recommend these. I have heard them, and they are great 'phones for $50. The er6i would be more clear and accurate, but the c551 (c551k means they are black in color) is more fun to listen to.

Also, the new jbuds 2, soundmagic pl30, and nuforce ne-7 may be better than these, I have just not heard them so I cannot recommend them.

For $55 shipped, you will not be disappointed, just beware of the short cord. The cord is short on the c551 and it comes with an extender cord that is heavy and LONG.
