Hi I'm new to this forum but I've been reading it for some time. I have Denon ahd2000's and Sennheiser hd595's, headphones at two opposite ends of the spectrum. My question is what amp would suit these two the best. Ive done some research on the Schiit asgard and it sounds good but before I drop $250 id like to hear some opinions from people who have this setup. Also I'm using a pioneer dv f-07 for most of my music (cd) I currently have it running to my Pioneer vsx-1020k receiver. Right now I have a fiio e7 as my only amp so I just plug that into the headphone out port of my receiver. When I decide on a headphone amp, would I get a better sound if I split the RCA out of the cd player and ran one to my receiver and one to an amplifier? Should I connect RCA from the zone2 output on receiver to the RCA's of the amp? or should I just use RCA's to connect the cd player directly to the amp?
