I was lucky enough to have a faulty electronic blow out my D7K's, D2K's, and an old 24" monitor before I traced the problem to said electronic and promptly threw it in a dumpster.
The left driver on my D7K is dead (right driver works). I tested the left driver with a multimeter and got no continuity, so I assume it's a blown/fused voice coil. These cans are out of warranty and no longer produced by denon. I talked with www.panurgyOEM.com support and could not get a straight answer if they even have replacement parts for a D7K.
Is there any hope the driver can be repaired, or am I condemned to hunt down another D7K with only one driver working?
