They are in the same price range so I think it is a fair comparison. I would love to hear the opinions of people who have heard both.
I currently use a stock Denon 2000 with the HeadRoom Portable Desktop. I primarily listen to Baroque (Bach, Handel, Vivaldi). I like the sound for the most part but on some of the large scale classical music, the bass loses control during the loud passages.
I'm not really into DIY so the only options I have are the ones in the title.
