Never mind, already fixed it!
How did you get it out? Mine wont budge. I heated it up with a solder iron and tried to tap it out. Did you end up needing a drill?

Greetings future traveller who comes across this thread. The answer to the polished nut that is fixed in place is that it comes out with force, and with some heat. it's secured via locktite glue only.
