I've had this machine for a few weeks now. Yes, it's sound is "gorgeous", warm, full yet clear and detailed. It would be hard for me to believe that someone hearing this could still complain the sound is too "digital" for their liking.
My only problem is that in comparison to my Sony 222es, also modded from sacdmods, it's not quite as bright and (as my wife, who loves the Denon, will attest) I've always liked things a tad bright and thin.
It has around 200 hours on it, so I don't think break-in is much of an issue anymore. Should I just accept that perhaps the machine is too "good" for me and sell it?
