^ boulderdash!

I have a 64GB SSD, and a 2GB ram on the way to upgrade it, its a light netbook, and the build quality is terrific!

The SSD is sooo fast, I wouldn't trade it for another netbook, maybe a pair of Omega's though...

Of all the netbooks, the Lenovo is the one you do not want.

I love my MSI Wind. Got the original version with the proper touchpad. If I were buying today, I'd still go with the Wind, or maybe the NC10.

My Dell Mini works great as a music server. I use an outboard USB hard drive with 320 gigs. I also upgraded to 2 gigs of main memory.

Acer Aspire has been a lot of hassle (weeks and weeks of troubleshooting), I'll wait for the next gen Atom before I upgrade though

I almost bought the S10 yesterday, why do you recommend avoiding? Are there issues that i am not aware of?

I'm also curious. Lenovo makes great quality stuff.

Looks cool, but they seriously need a higher resolution before I would buy one.

The vertical pixel count must be at least 800 before I would consider.

Is that the actual res? 1024x600?

I believe the battery life on the Lenovo is not as good as other netbooks. Lenovo does make great business laptops (Thinkpads), but their consumer netbooks and laptops are nothing special.

I got given an Asus eeepc 900 20GB linux, and now running n-lited XP its fantastic. Everything a netbook should be.

Any eeepc 900 owners here with experience of the aftermarket extended batteries? I'm thinking of going with a Mugen or Cameron Sino battery.
