1000+ Head-Fier
I was getting scared that my 2405 would arrive with dead pixels or a crack on the screen or perhaps a weird hum... thanks goodness, it's pristine!
I ran a DPT (dead pixel test) and although at first I found what appeared to be 4 dead pixels, I was relieved to find out that it was just dust.... PHEW!!
My question, do dead pixels appear out of nowhere (i.e. after a few days of use) or is it only when the monitor is first turned on?
Lastly, I have to point out that the vga cord was attached to the 2405 and was bent out of place inside the box and styrofoam.... is this normal??
Thanks,
Joey
Here are some pictures, as we all love pictures!
It is BIGGER in real life - the 2405's length is about 2 inches longer than my Logitech Elite Keyboard even though it looks equal in the pic, just to give you an idea.
NO contest.... my Samsung 193P 19" LCD that I bought last year for $750 from newegg vs my new Dell 2405 which I bought for $650 from Dell.
Room's a little messy.... sorry!
I'm in the middle of revamping my audio system <- my excuse!
