I have been surprised by what ewido has successfully cleaned up after trying everything else first. I'll start using it more often.

Try out Spybot search and destroy.It always catches hardcore spyware that others cannot even detect.

These things sometimes take time so keep at it and i am sure you will get rid of it.I had something like this happen and i could not delete it so i searched for it under google and it was a java virus.So basically go into your java contol panel under the control panel and select "delete files".Try that.

Looks better. That winlogon is gone at least.

I've been told not to execute hijackthis from within a user folder and/or temp directory: you are currently doing both. C:\DOCUME~1\TOMWU~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX32.265\Hij ackThis.exe

Delete your entire temp directory C:\DOCUME~1\TOMWU~1\LOCALS~1\Temp

Agreed, definitely delete all java temps. The actual location is under Sun in documents and settings somewhere, but the java applet in control panel works perfectly.

All I have to say is I am glad I don't have McAfee.. 13 processes running and 9 files set to load on startup?!

Is that normal?

You look clean at the moment.

If you scan clean with ewido, you should be good. Make sure you do the memory and registry scan, C:\ folder, system32 folder, docs and settings folder, temp folders -clear those out and empty recycle bin.
Search the drives for any file created or modified around the time you were infected (easiest when done right when the infection starts).

Anyhoo..

I would try posting that on a HijackThis forum, the posters there can usually give you VERY indepth information/advice.
