Newegg has them for $179. Only saw one thread regarding these speakers back in March. Anyone have them, like/dislike them, recommend/scorn them?

Def Tech tends to over-exaggerate the low end bass response of their speakers and subs, so I wouldn't expect useable bass output down to rated 26hz, but I have heard good things about those speakers. They get recommended a good bit over on the AVS speaker forum. You might inquire there. Let them know what your max budget is and how you are going to use them (PC setup or TV, music, gaming, etc.). There may be other deals that they recommend.
