Hello,
I am trying to solve the following conundrum: when I play a certain stereo music, sound distortions start coming from my left headphone, but when I swap audio channels, those same distortions don't come from right headphone.
What would be your conclusion from this? Does this point to the problem with the left headphone itself, or could it still be just a problem with the recording?

Should anyone be willing to test the recording directly, here is a link to it:

Thanks in advance for your feedback,

I didn't try the recording, but if you swap channels and the offending noise doesn't swap with it, that's an indicator of problems with the headphone.
