Headphone newbie here. I have a spare Sophia Baby amp and was looking to repurpose it. I'm waiting on my first 'real' headphones, a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770's. For my iPod/Macbook, I use a pair of Super.fi EB5s which I like but don't sound well at all w/ my tube equipment.

At present, I don't have a dedicated headphone amp. I'll start off w/ my Rotel 1070 headphone output, which is used w/ my ASL Wave 25 monoblocks and Von Schwiekert VR1's. My sources are an Ah! Njoeb tube CD player and Pro-ject TT. The Ah! has a headphone output but I don't know how good it is, it wasn't good w/ the Superfi's.

I've considered the Terry Gesualdo Headphone Adapter to use w/ the Baby, only because I'm too lazy to figure what size of resistors to run in parallel. But at that price, is it better to go ahead and get a similarly priced Little Dot, like the Little Dot I+?

Thanks.
