This latest version of the CDP came out this past December, and it is advertised as a complete redesign of past versions. It is interesting in that it has a headphone jack, built in DAC and iPod doc, meaning that it could be a very good desktop unit for work. Has anyone tried this yet. I have used the search tool, but found no impressions yet.

Here is a link to Decware:

Anyone know what DAC is used in this unit? Nothing is listed on the website.

Another interesting aspect is that this CDP appears to be a modified version of the Tascam CD-200i:

Any comments are appreciated.

Very interesting, to be sure. I like the way he made the tube just stick out the back, so you can roll it easily

I might have gone for this, had I not just picked up a AVA fet-valve DAC and Wadia i170 iPod transport...
