Decent portable speakers?

I had the T77s for two years in the Peace Corps. They were ok, but they were trounced by the Travelsound speakers that another volunteer had!

Probably not. Because the batteries are standard AAA, people may use non-rechargeables, which might explode if charged.

I like standard AA/AAA batteries much better. With those, I only need one standard charger. With non standard batteries, I have to bring along the specific chargers. It is not convenient to pack 10 chargers, for cell phone, toothbrush, shaver, MP3, camera, camcorder, computer, ...

Is it because InMotion plays lower frequency than TravelSound, so it clips with louder bass, but not very loud mid frequency? Was your audition bass heavy?
