Hi I'm after some noise isolating headphones mainly for bus rides etc
I listen to mainly drum and bass and other assorted broken beat genres

So far I've narrowed it down to shure srh440 or if I stretched my budget a little some ath m50's
From what I can gather though the srh440's can lack bass a bit

opinions?

First off - http://www.head-fi.org/t/596233/buying-portable-or-in-ear-headphones-seeking-guidance-dont-start-a-new-thread-ask-for-advice-here

While the M50s are usually touted as being better suited for D&B and other bass-intensive genres (and I would be inclined to agree), we all have different preferences and that might very well not be so in your case. Stating sound preferences would always be more helpful in the long run as it gives us more to go by.

Scratch that, just read the bolded part. If you're not open to any other alternatives (which would be a shame), the M50s would be fine in this case and easily usurps the Shures in terms of quantity.

Sorry I'm at work and didn't get much of a chance to have a browse
I'll reply in this thread but from here on I'll go onto the other thread

I'm very much so open to other suggestions I'd just like to keep the budget below $150
