I'm do a lot of flying and am looking for a pair of noise canceling headphones to make those trans-atlantic journeys in economy slightly more bearable. Ideally, I’d like something that could actually be used as a fairly good pair of standard headphones when the noise canceling function is turned off.
I’m looking at Audio-Technica’s ATH-ANC7 because they’re currently under $100 but I’ve read reports of sound leakage. Obviously this is a big minus for use on a plane. Anybody own these and have any opinions? Or does anybody have any other suggestions? Maybe the JVC HANC250. I’m ideally looking to spend no more than $100 so Bose are out.
Thanks in advance.
