I'm close to getting an IEM pair in the $100 to 200 price range. What's stopping me is the several posts about $300 IEMs breaking in six months or less. Now what I'd really like to find is an Ety ER6i pair with Koss warranty.

Which brands offer great (international) warranties?

Is the warranty the only thing stoping you from getting the ER-6i? Etymotic offers a two year warranty from what I remember. The durability of the ER-6 and ER-6i is underrated. If you treat them well, they will last forever. I beat up on my ER-6s quite often and they're still going strong. I don't know of any headphone companies that offer anything more than a two year warranty, sans Koss. The ER-6i is an amazing product for the price, I say just go for it.

shure has a 2 year warranty as mr. joshua said. from the experiences I have read on this forum, they are very lenient, and will even take things that broke as a result of the users actions, not through normal usage. They normally ship you out a brand new pair rather than repair the one you send in.
