I have several IEMs in this price range -
 
Head Direct RE2  $29  the good - comfortable, durable cloth covered cables, clean sound. The bad - completely lack bass, mine failed after three months of light use.
 
Meelecttronic M6 $40 - the good - great sound, nice accessories, durable construction. The bad - I find them completely uncomfortable to wear for more than a few minutes due to the memory wire and tips (I've tried different tips with no success and thought of removing the memory wire).
 
Nuforce NE - 6 $39 - the good - nice sound (but not quite as good the M6), mine have held up well to 5 months of daily use in some hard environments, comfortable. The bad - the included soft case is garbage but it's hard to criticize much else for the price.
