I indulged myself in a pair of a-Jays Four a couple of months ago for my iPhone 4 after my rubbish Apple ones broke. But I have tragically lost them on a visit to London, so I need to break to get a new pair.

As much as I loved my a-Jays Four, I did find the bass overwhelming and the highs a bit muddy so I am looking for an alternative - and I'm just wondering if anyone here has any reccomendations.

Some things I'd like in them are:

1: Below £60 (the cheaper the better really!)
2: Built in mic and volume control
3: Not too much focus on bass, as I listen to mostly soft rock with very little bass - so the mids and highs are more important.

That's it really - looking forward to hearing suggestions :)

MEElectronics A151 would be a good choice for you but it doesn't come with mic/vol control. I've had the a-JAYS Four and everything about the A151 was substantially better to me.

The ADDIEMS are surprisingly not too shabby, not much focus on bass (though its there) and it does the job for most music (good selection of tips). Its a headset too with full compatibility with your iPhone. They can be found rather cheap on eBay, got mine for about 25 USD from a legit seller. (Though I'm not sure who the current legit sellers are) If you can find them for dirt cheap give them a try, mine have been tossed about rather roughly and still work perfectly.
