Hi, i just bought a second hand pair of these, and like them a lot, but am wondering if there are any silver/copper cables which are compatible which would improve the sound. I have seen a few around, but they are all around the £150 mark, which is double what i paid for my headphones, so would not consider it.

Also, would i notice this difference if i was listening to high bitrate mp3 or AAC?
Or only wave ?

Actually, just copper cables, because they are cheaper and more sturdy, and still seem to have good reviews. Around the £50 mark maybe ?

Any HD6x0 replacement cable, or you can DIY it with any 4-conductors wire plus Cardas HPSC connectors. I have tried to connect the Silver Dragon, and the clarity is improved slightly, the bass better etc.
