I'm really disappointed that they went glossy across the board on the screens. It sucks for any kind of photo/video editing.

I still love my macbook pro despite the fact that they might've fixed the overheating problem and a better graphics card.

These still look great and may even be better than the others in some ways (e.g., matte screen options for those people that care about that) but the trackpad is the deal breaker for me. Having played with the new Macs for a while, I really like the large trackpad with the four finger gestures. I use all four screen corners to activate things so it really speeds things up for me. Having the right click is also nice even though I get by just fine with the two-finger tap.

Does anyone know if the four finger gestures are software based or is the actual hardware on the new portables different?
