I'm getting one tomorrow morning. Anyone else wanna experiment?

EDIT:

HEY EVERYBODY. Follow the Slickdeals method http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3220862 The catch is that you need to buy something else. $149.99 doesn't work for the $30 off coupon--you'll need to buy something else, but you can get $15 off the 16GB.

Just bought the 32GB, and the iPadesque case for basically free ($149.99-$30+the case)

Only the 32GB is in stock now.

hold up guys, it appears the deal is going on only in canada , the deal should follow suit in the states soon though

i don't know, it seems like this thing will only be a wifi/internet reader seeing as such few apps were released in the very short 50 days and app developement will soon slow to a halt

Is this because HP is selling off their PC division?

it's insanity imo....how much pc crap does hp sell (big box desktops/latptops, monitors, mice, keyboards)

Post updated (sorry, I was going to be faster with the update, but my dad and I were thinking of friends to tell to make sure they get it if they wanted to.), you can get it direct from HP now if you make an account with the Slickdeals method. And 1 year warranty still stands I presume? I dunno for sure. Still, it's $100 for a decent tablet. People have spent more for iffy headphones.

And it's because they're killing of WebOS devices. The unlocked Pre 2 was selling $50, but I missed it.

Too much competition, they're doing what IBM did.

true that, a decently fast (I HOPE...) for $100 sounds good for me, sure beats buying cables
