What is is about "the deal" that makes buying IEMs so alluring? It is the deal, I think, more than anything else. I had a chance to get a pair of the ThinkSound Thunder for 25 percent off. Did I need them? Of course not. Did I buy them? Of course. They are fine, excellent in fact, IEMs, but it was the chance to get them below MSRP that drove me to it. Same with the er6i deal (though I am passing on this one). Sick.

actually amazon has the ER6i at $50 quite often throughout the year. It happens every once in a while. If you are patient and only want to pay 50 you can wait for them to show up again.

However, I don't think they are that great for the price anymore with all the new offerings over the last couple years but thats another story

I received RE0's for Christmas but they don't isolate well enough when I'm playing drums. I have some ER20 earplugs so I figure the ER6i will satisfy my isolation needs for drumming...especially for $50.
