Right now B&H is selling the 600ohm 2005 version of the DT990's for $237 shipped. I saw that this deal has existed before, and it seems they recently reinstated it. I bought a pair myself - it's actually cheaper than their 250ohm ones right now!

yeah we know about the deal, but you could pretty much get any beyerdynamic at that price if you called to their sales department.

Actually, this sale had been going on for more than a month. A friend told me about it back in late January, but they kept selling out, so timing was of the essence !

I got em in feb 02, even made a thread about it too because of the ridiculous low price

Ah - I apologize for posting old info then. Every time I went on B&H before they were always sold out of all 600ohm headphones.

whose sales department are you refering too...i want the dt880 600ohm at that price
