I have to finish (mixdown) a short demo of our band till Saturday. I visited a couple of shops nearby with some hope to find a v6 or something similar, but no luck. So should it give a try with CX300s?

Give it a try with the CX300. I dot have my V6 with me so I can't do a direct comparison, but I think both the V6 and CX300 are comparable in terms of having bright highs and deep bass. By all means, find yourself a V6 if you can.
