it's an sb live! 5.1 (i know, i got it before i came to head-fi). i bought it used, and it's pretty low-end, so i guess it was time for it to go, but i don't have the money to go replace it now. all it puts out through any output is a high-pitched tone (i've tested with both headphones and speakers). what happened (or is it impossible to know)?

edit:alright, i restarted a few times, and it's working again. thanks guys. mods, please delete
