Yeah, it's really good.

Just got the CD for my wife last night, as she's a big fan, and we're going to go to his show in Minneapolis this Thursday.

The only real drag IMO is that it uses DFM to limit copies. It doesn't look like its directly compatable with iTunes, so it might be challenging to get on the computer / iPod. I'm the only iPod user in the house, so it's not that big a deal, but I really dislike DRM in principal.

I really liked this one as well. He seems to be very consistent in terms of quality, from what I've heard (White Ladder, A New Day). Terrific stuff.

I just got this cd, and I am very impressed.

This is usually the type of music I would listen to and like, but not enough to buy the cd. This may be the best cd I've bought in a while.

Is his old stuff as good as this? Any particular one I look at?

I prefer his old releases. My favourite by far is "A Century Ends." The ladies tend to dig it too.

Off topic, but you might want to also check out Ray Lamontagne "Trouble"
