DAVE Scaler on it's way?

Having watched the video it would appear a DAVE Scaler is on it's way, good news for me who was never tempted to buy the M Scaler due to the price of the cables etc. Do members think it will come out without the need for expensive cables?
With a bit of luck I'll have saved up enough money to buy it as I've only just purchased a DAVE

It was supposed to come out late last year. Maybe it’ll get released late this year.

We still don’t know if it’ll need expensive bnc cables. Hopefully no, but I’d say 60% chance it will, on a guess.

Don't mind if it does take a while as it took me two years to save up enough for the DAVE. I do hope that out of the box like the DAVE you don't need to spend loads extra just to get a decent link. By that recent interview it does sound tempting though.
