Hey guys,
My terminator V3s have a blown driver (buzzes away, I've opened it up and it's not a hair or anything you can tell it's the actual driver). I've accepted that I need a new driver I just have a quick question.
Firstly, know that looking at the cost of drivers alone (CAD $175 alone!) I'd prefer to just buy the headphones, and it'd almost be cheaper. I figure spare parts are always handy. I'll be DIYing it obvious (just to clear that up!).
OH I know that Larry at Headphile will replace for ~$150 shipped but I'd prefer to keep the good driver, and would maybe like the option to switch up the drivers!
Now with this in mind should I get the DT770 80ohms, 250ohms or 600ohms?
Amp would be ZO2. I've heard good things (notably from Skylab) about the 600ohm but know how hard 600ohm Beyers are to drive and I really don't have the amp to drive them. Correct?
In which case then 80ohm or 250ohm?
Thanks a lot!
