Final thread. Please visit links before voting. And if you reply, Please give reasons, don't just say "XXX Amplifier."

Which Amp should I buy for my K701s? I want to strengthen the bass a little, but I don't want to compromise the soundstage. Thanks for any and all help

Damn, that Millet is adorable.

I think the Little Dot has the most cred around here. A few people have used Figaros and liked them, although they're a budget amp inferior to the 332/336/37. I have heard few complaints on the Little Dots, and they're very customizable. You have to crack the Figaro open to tuberoll.

The Lunchbox is scary and Russian. No.

Little Dot because it is a push/pull amp and has a pretty low noise rating of .1%. It also has 4 tubes. I like tubes.

I'd think the bass would have more strength with the push/pull design. Upgrading the output caps has the potential to be a nice little amp for the price.
