I consider this an important feature due to my hearing limitations.  One reason I love Rock boxed players.  Can someone suggest which players include balance control in the UI? I know Fiio does on most of their models,  curious about some of the newer players.  I'm waiting on the Echobox, but not expecting delivery anytime soon.  Right now I'm using Sansa Clip Plus and Xduou X3 with Rockbox, but some of the other players have me intrigued due to touch screen, and higher end DAC, etc., but really need channel balance.

The iBasso DX90 can be easily rockboxed, it also has a replaceable battery - another plus and touch screen. Also if you don't mind the form factor and button based UI the iHifi812v2 (or 960 which is essentially the same device).  Both sound very good, outperforming the X3  (I have them all in my collection).
