Using B&W P7 headphones and an iPhone 6 for now, but feeling the limitations of the iPhone in terms of audio quality, storage space and battery life. I like the lossless quality, so streaming isn't really an option, so I only ever use Tidal's offline mode. And after a harddisk malfunction a while back I have no stored music on my PC anymore, so I'd like to just use Tidal rather than build up a new music library again.
So, how much do I need to pay to get a good DAP that will fit my needs?
It should have decent audio quality, but I'm not a super audiophile compared to the people who really are audiophiles.
It needs to be able to use Tidal Hifi in offline mode as source.
It needs to have enough storage that I can have a decent selection of music in lossless quality.
The headphones it has to be able to run well are B&W P7s
Also I'd like to get as good value for money as possible, provided it does all of the above.
Any recommendations?
