Can anyone suggest a good DAP with a really good AMP in it(under 1k).
Does not matter, if it is used.
It seems most of the DAP's can't really drive the good closed back headphones with enough dynamics. (in-spite of the ungodly amounts these DAP companies charge).
Closed cans like Aeon, Atticus, Ether etc
Anything that can atleast equal the fidelity of a smartphone + Mojo(or Liquid carbon)

My personal favorite is the iBasso DX150/DX200 with the AMP8 module. I believe the AMP8 pushes out 1200mw/Channel into 32ohm. It drives anything I've thrown at it. Used a DX150 goes for $350 (IFFF you can find one) and the DX200 goes for about $500-550. The AMP8 is hard to find used so you'll probably need to buy new for about $200.

You may see a bunch of 200 hit the classified a little later this year due to the DX220 coming out.

AK Kann or iBasso DX150/200. Get a nice amp module for iBasso DAP.
