Hi,
I currently own an iphone and use Neutron as my music player app icw Senheisser IE80 earbuds. I very much like this combination but the the iphone has only 8GB which is useless for my media collection.
That is also the only thing that I like about the iphone so changing to another phone with USB DAC support is one of my options.
I don't really care if it is a cheap Windows or Android phone, but i understand that the best chances of USB DAC support are with Android.
I have read through the list of Android devices but it is unclear to me how many and which portable DAC and Amp there are for mobile devices. The other option is to use a DAP instead.
My question would be if my budget is $250-$350 AUD which direction would give me better SQ with the use of the Senheisser IE80.
I am not looking to get to the top of the line. The iphone 4s with Neutron and Senheisser IE80 is my benchmark that I like to achieve or surpass.
