Hello -

I was hoping for a brief description of the pros / cons of utilizing a DAP with a nice decoding amp vs buying an entry level DAP. I use hd650s, ie6000, athm50x, pinnacle p1, and etymotic hf5s. I currently have an RSA dac/amp - the predator. Insight is greatly appreciated!

If you're going to use it for commuting, better mid to low finish kind.

With the commotion around its useless to have some highfi and be distracted by noise.

Have a smartphone that double as a dac/amp (LG V20). Love it!
