Hello Head-Fi'ers,
 
Is there a DAP that is able to stream Music from NAS? After some research it seems that this would be possible with an iPod touch. Is this correct? If yes, how well does it work? Are there alternatives?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I use my Ipod touch to stream FLAC files out of my Synology DS-212. I have Synology and Twonky apps on my Ipod. Both works flawlessly with my Gen 4 Ipod touch.

if you're just using a touch you can just use the built in airplay capability.  There are also streaming apps that work pretty well too.

I bought one just yesterday and it's working perfectly. As I already had Squeezebox server running on my NAS, I went with iPeng on the iPod. It's working beatifully with my FLAC music library - I was afraid that I'd have to convert everything into MP3 or some proprietary Apple format, and very glad to see that FLAC works just as well.
