Its been a very long time since I last posted but I thought this would be the best place for a recommendation for.a DAP.
I use an ageing ipod daily with my shure se535's. I'd like to get a better sounding source and was wondering which ones folks would suggest based on these few requirements;
Needs to be lightweight and have a long battery life ( i do long bikepacking journeys so need lightweight and life)
I have a budget of £250 ( I'm.in the UK)
Used / secondhand is fine with.

Any help would be grateful received

The Sony NW-A55 has up to 45 hrs of battery life wired, but I cannot find any UK stock, so the next best thing is the Shanling M0 and a 10,000 mAh light battery pack, which probably is near the same weight as the NW-A55 combined:

Thank you. I actually had a look at the Sony a wee while ago but like you, could not find any in the UK only Japanese sellers. Does anyone have experience with the cowon D2?

Nothing beats Shanling M3X in this price range. It has one of the best battery back up and very portable. The sound is neutral and you won’t be disappointed.
