Im looking for some kind of rig for my desk. The portability of a Dap and the DX200 or an Opus #2 look pretty awesome. However Ive been also curious about the Mimby and a Magni 3 as music at my desk is the #1 demand right now.
I've owned both a desktop rig and a DX100 before so I kinda get an Idea how they are apples and oranges. However I was into Planar magnetics at the time. Now that I have Iems the gear necessity has kinda changed. Also the DAPs look vastly improved now. I've never had a great idea on how portable Dacs compare to desktop dacs though.
Also other suggestions around $400 outside of the schiit stack is greatly appreciated. If I go Daps I kinda know what I want.
Iems used are Unique Melody Miracle Universals.
