Anyone know of many of the portable amps that can "dangle" off of normal Mp3 players instead of attaching it to the back? Something light and small enough to just connect the IC from the line-out or HP out on your MP3 player and keep in a pocket with the MP3 player.

All I can think of are the Fiio E3/5 and that Xin Supermicro amp or whatever.

Anything else?

Because I think it's awkward to hold a touch screen device with extra bulk at the back. Besides, I'm just curious.

its smaller than it looks. check the meassurements. still though, no matter how light it is, its gonna be easy for any amp to unplug itself from ur dap, when for instance getting caught in ur jeans pocket

Anyway, I guess I'll just stick to the Fiios. Anyone know of the iBasso T3? Or if the new Fiio E1 will have a bass boost.

I dangle a PA2V2, but only because I've never seen the point in attaching it. I rarely use it anyways, I don't get a discernible benefit out of amping my Portapros on the go.

I say no to dangling

I think its bad to dangle; bad for the inputs and outputs. the fiio maybe, but I personally dont see the point of that device from the limited time I have spent with them.
