Please give song recommendations, I've no idea what I am getting into. The objective is to entertain a mostly mid aged all korean crowd. I'm thinking 80's and early 90's hits. I need to make a mix or two.

You could check out some of the 80's comps out there, but that may be too dated. Or are you looking for more electronic dance type music?

70th birthday party for my grandmother.

No, none electronica stuff. Any recommendations for 80's compilations? Disco would be great as well. I like Kool & the Gang, but don't actually know their albums nor specific songs. Although that celebration song might be perfect for this occasion.

There are so many 80's comps out there, I'd check out Pure 80's or 80's Pop Hits at your local CD megastore. They're all pretty much the same, you'll find disco favorites as well.
