Ok can i ask what makes this player be that expensive ? what is/was the real retail price for that unit new ?. Sorry i don't know much of that brand.

Silly question but what compares to other mp3's in SQ? at that price it should be same as a great full size sound system.

It sounds quite good, is fully supported by rockbox, can be modified to run off a 32gb flash card, battery runtime extended past 24 hours, and is one of very few DAPs ever to include both analog and digital line-in and line-out.

Not everything from iriver since then has been good, but the h100 and h300 series are very nice.

All that! My tweaked-out IHP-120 ain't goin' anywhere.
