I have a custom IEM (Westone ES series) that, for reasons having to do with the iPhone's software, was subjected to a couple of very brief (1 second or so) but very loud bursts of music. (I've now learned how to avoid this, but it took it happening a couple of times for me to learn...) Basically, a short blast of music at the iPhone's highest volume setting. The IEM sounds fine, but how can you tell if it has been damaged, other than it obviously sounding bad? Many thanks in advance.
